Abilities:
-EWAR Specialist.
-Can jam long-range sensors at significant range, and can jam even optical/auditory sensors at close range.
-Capable of creating sensor clones, projecting false images of himself using electronic signals.
-ARAM missiles capable of homing in on sensors at extreme range.
-Very fast, and skillful at evading enemy attacks.
-Can mask his own signature, giving him somewhat of a sensor chameleon effect.
-Capable of a 'halfway' form, suitable for hovering.


Weaknesses:
-Very weak armor.
-Very little short-range firepower.
-Carries few weapons.
-Somewhat craven in open combat.
-Afraid of pain.
-Delicate electronic systems can't take much damage.

Backstory: One of the Protoforms which Genesis had taken with him to Earth, Chaff had held an intense interest in technology, before his stasis. On Cybertron, he had been studying intently a method to create new sensors, which ended up enlisting him in the sensors arms race, with countermeasures and counter-countermeasures barely keeping pace. Due to his intensive focus on technology, Chaff never truly managed to look past the nuts and bolts that comprised his allies, looking to their personalities as simple variations in core programming. The individuality of everyone's spark is, to him, the natural process of high-energy decay. From his position, far off the front lines, warfare seemed more of a game, to him, than a real situation. As thus, he never really developed any animosity toward the Autobots, simply seeing them as dots on a screen. This lack of animosity appealed to Genesis, who persuaded Chaff to accompany him on a mission away from Cybertron, where, he was told, he would be able to further refine his technology, without the interfering effects of the ongoing conflict.
